Super Tuesday Live Blogging: Here Comes New York...

7:57 PM: Massachusetts called for Clinton.

CALLS CORRECT FOR OVERSTREET: Dem - 7/7, GOP - 6/7

FEB. 3. POLL-PROJECTED DELEGATE COUNT: Clinton 852, Obama 838.

ESTIMATED DEMOCRATIC DELEGATES SO FAR (not inc. AR or MA): Obama 209, Clinton 157.

SWING FROM FEB. 3 POLL-PROJECTED DELEGATE COUNT: 6 to Obama.

ESTIMATED PLEDGED DELEGATE TOTAL THUS FAR: Obama 272, Clinton 185.

8 PM: New York for Clinton.

8:02 PM: Delaware projected for Obama. Two-thirds of the vote in: Obama 50%, Clinton 45%. Calculating delegates: Obama 8, Clinton 7- a 1 delegate swing to Obama from what the last poll I saw projected.

CALLS CORRECT FOR OVERSTREET: Dem - 9/9, GOP - 6/7

8:06: Arkansas Dem delegates: MSNBC exit poll predicts 65.6% Clinton, 28% Obama. Statewide delegates 9-4 Clinton; CDs 1 and 2 each 4-2; Cds 3 and 4 each 4-1 Clinton, BARELY; either or both could go 3-2. My projection: Clinton 25, Obama 10. Swing from projection: 2 to Obama. These are all trickling towards Obama, these swings...

8:15 PM: Massachusetts. MSNBC Exit Poll: 50.7% Clinton, 45.9% Obama. Gender gap definite, but not so broad here as in other places. Not going to break this down by CD: rough guesstimate on delegates, Clinton 49, Obama 44. Swing from prior projection: 1 to Obama. Again.

8:19 PM: McCain wins New York. Clinton wins New Jersey.

CALLS CORRECT FOR OVERSTREET: Dem - 10/10, GOP - 7/8 (Wow, this is holding up well.)

8:21 PM: New York delegate estimate. MSNBC Exit poll 56.5% Clinton, 40% Obama. Rough delegate estimate: Clinton 136, Obama 96. Swing from estimates: 4 to Obama.

8:25 PM: Alabama for Obama. FINALLY I get a Dem state wrong.

CALLS CORRECT FOR OVERSTREET: Dem - 10/11, GOP - 7/8

8:27 PM: Let's do the Alabama thing. MASSIVE black vote turnout- much larger than expected. Very bad white vote performance for Obama. MSNBC Exit poll predicts 54% Obama, 41.2% Clinton. Statewide delegates 10-8 Obama; CDs 1,2, 6 2-2; CDs 3, 4, 5 3-2 Obama; CD 7 - 4-3 Obama. (Again, presuming proprtionate in all districts, which it won't be. This is rough estimate only.) Total estimated delegates: Obama 29, Clinton 23. Swing from prior estimate: 4 to Obama.

8:38: New Jersey: the gender advantage is what did it for Clinton. More women than men voted Democratic, and Clinton led among women about as much as Obama led among men. 36% white vote for Obama. MSNBC exit poll predicts 48.9% Clinton, 48.6% Obama. I'm surprised MSNBC called this one before Missouri- they must be expecting a larger Clinton lead in the actual vote. Anyway, based on exit poll: Clinton 54, Obama 53. No swing from projection.

OK, I'm all caught up with called states, I think. Time to clear boards again for the next round. I should have hit enter for Alabama I suppose, but that's the only surprise I've seen, really.
