Super Tuesday Live Blogging: Damn Rain

8:48: A line of storms hits, the heavy rain knocking out satellite reception. I'm going to fall behind, I think.

CALLS CORRECT FOR OVERSTREET: Dem - 10/11, GOP - 7/8

FEB. 3. POLL-PROJECTED DELEGATE COUNT: Clinton 852, Obama 838.

ESTIMATED DEMOCRATIC DELEGATES SO FAR: Obama 449, Clinton 431.

SWING FROM FEB. 3 POLL-PROJECTED DELEGATE COUNT: 18 to Obama.

ESTIMATED PLEDGED DELEGATE TOTAL THUS FAR: Obama 512, Clinton 479.

8:50: Signal back, for the moment. If we lose power I will be PISSED. It looks like California will be as decisive as anything is tonight... but we all expected that. Unexpected: in Missouri, New Jersey, and Georgia Zogby was very close to or right on the money, at least matching MSNBC's exit polls. Too soon to know if New Jersey's vote total will match that, though.

8:52: Oklahoma called for McCain.

CALLS CORRECT FOR OVERSTREET: Dem - 10/11, GOP - 8/9

8:53: As I was about to say: if Zogby is right about California, with a narrow Obama win, and if these other numbers hold up... then Obama will gain a small but measurable outright win in the delegate count tonight, by about 40 delegates.

And that prediction, I think, is good enough to clear boards again on.
