About this time last year I said somewhere or other that the only way the Democrats could possibly lose in 2008 would be if they nominated Hillary Clinton.
Well, after nearly a year of what appeared to be a monarchial procession to the throne, Zogby reports that the tide is turning.
Hillary now loses, in head-to-head polling, to ANY Republican- well, at least any Republican from Huckabee on up. Ron Paul, Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter weren't included.
That's fine by me. I regard Hillary as corrupt and power-hungry, every bit as much so as the entire Republican field. I could live with Obama, and thankfully that scum Edwards has no chance, but Hillary would be worse than Dubya.
For now, though, it appears we won't have to worry about that...
